She's covered sports for some of the most prestigious publications around the world. She spent almost a decade covering the sport for The Washington Post, including tennis, football and basketball. Nichols worked for nine years at ESPN and won two Emmy Awards. Additionally, she was an on-line reporter for Monday Night Football broadcasts. The next step was CNN as well as Turner Sports. Unguarded was a program that she co-produced and hosted aired each one week at CNN International. It was watched by over a billion viewers across the globe. Nichols worked for TNT as a reporter and reporter on NBA games, including regular season, playoffs and All Star television broadcasts. Her work on behalf of TBS covered golf and baseball coverage, and Final Four broadcasts by CBS. It was only the 2nd time in the company's 42 years that women were nominated out of more than 200 nominations.
