Katherine Jean Bolduan professionally known as Kate Bolduan is an American broadcast journalist. She is best known as anchor of the CNN morning program At This Hour. Bolduan was also the anchor of CNN's morning programs New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan was part of CNN the award-winning news coverage of the presidential 2012 and 2016 election. She has previously worked as an Washington DC based correspondent, covering both the US House and Senate. Bolduan was a reporter for legislative and congressional events, such as the negotiations for raising the federal debt ceiling and super committee discussions. Her general assignment work has included stories about the Christmas Day Bombing, Obamacare's Supreme Court Decision and implementation of the stimulus program by the government in 2009. The journalist joined CNN at the end of 2007 and was a national correspondent with CNN Newsource. She worked as the CNN Newsource national correspondent, offering breaking news and reportage on feature stories to more than 800 CNN Newsource affiliated stations. She has worked at NBC News MSNBC as well as WTVD-TV. She is a resident of New York City, with her husband, and two kids.
